Education

Clemson Area Youth Theatre (CAYT), the youth program of the Clemson Little Theatre, has a long-standing tradition of engaging young performers in the arts, dedicated to providing meaningful performance and educational opportunities. Each season features two mainstage productions for actors ages 10–18. Acting classes are offered during the school year for various age groups, and summer camps in the performing arts are available for students entering 1st through 12th grades.

Productions

Each season, CAYT presents two fully staged mainstage productions featuring youth actors ages 10–18. These productions offer participants the chance to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of theatre, from auditions to live performance. Students may also explore technical roles such as lighting, sound, and stage crew.

Classes

Throughout the school year, CAYT offers acting classes for a range of age groups. These classes are designed to build fundamental performance skills, boost confidence, and foster a love of the arts in a supportive, creative environment.

Summer Camps

During the summer, CAYT hosts a variety of performing arts camps for students entering grades 1–12. Camp offerings vary by age and interest, allowing participants to explore acting, musical theatre, and other creative disciplines in an engaging, age-appropriate setting.
